Bieber's career got a boot from nothing but a video mis-click. Bieber was nothing but a regular boy who liked hockey like every other kid in Canada. Bieber started with a local singing competition and he was the finalist with other two girls. Every participant had singing lessons and Bieber was the only one who didn't have singing lessons 'cause his mother couldn't afford singing lessons . He was the 2nd runner up at the Stanford singing competition.

After the competition he wanted his whole family to see his performance so he uploaded his videos to YouTube and suddenly he had thousands of views and he decided to upload other videos of him singing songs.

Meanwhile Scooter Braun (Justin's manager) saw Justin Bieber's video and he started searching for him. He contacted everywhere he could even his school. His mother decided to talk to him to say please stop calling us and ended up talking for about two hours.

Scooter Braun called him to Atlanta to meet other celebrities for his career. He ended up meeting Usher and Usher and Island def jam signed for a album.
